client: abstract

She wanted it to be toned down a bit...

Client Abstract is an artist at heart. She had little bits of artwork everywhere when I showed up at our initial meeting. She was trying everything she could to spruce up her bland oak cabinet laden kitchen. Problem was now it felt like chaos. So, we stripped everything and toned down the color scheme. She wanted something more peaceful, but still she has an abstract artistic mind. So, we blended the two. The color palette became monochromatic, but we added a bold abstract accent wall painted by the client herself. The kitchen itself is more functional now with a giant island, an improved appliance layout and a ton more storage. We also included a doggy door in the cabinet plan so the furry friends could still access the fenced in section of the yard.
